Volcanic Islands Off the Coast of West Africa
The enigmatic islands of Cape Verde lie off the coast of West Africa, adrift in the Atlantic ocean. The natural beauty of these volcanic lands is unparalleled. On these islands, we hiked through lush cloud forests and visited villages forgotten by time. We also relaxed on pristine, unpopulated beaches and went diving in the cool Atlantic waters.
Most visitors confine themselves to the popular tourist destinations of Sal and Boa Vista. However, if you venture further, into the islands of Santo Antão and Brava, you will discover the road less trodden. Here we hiked along ancient coastlines, experienced untouched nature and a way of life that has long been lost.
