A Pastoral Paradise in South East Asia
Laos is a pastoral paradise. Fed by the mighty Mekong river, its landscape is lush, filled with a diversity of life. In Luang Prabang, we breakfasted on a terrace overlooking lush temperate rainforests. In Kingfisher Ecolodge, we drank ice cold Beer Lao over a grass plain where elephants wandered. We hiked up waterfalls, had dinner in the best food market in the world and captured the rapids of the four thousand islands. We also experienced contemporary Laos in Vientiane, a beautiful city with its mix of French and South East Asian architecture.
