Pastoral Landscapes, Cosy Pubs and Friendly Folk
Ireland is, for me, a country shrouded in beauty and magic, wrapped in nostalgia, and full of dreams. It’s a land that is both at once familiar and foreign. I supposed it’s because the natural landscape, the quaint little towns , the people and the conversations feel familiar from all the literature and films that have come from the country over the past century and more. We loved the verdant green of the countryside and the warming chowders in stately hotels, buttery scones in cute little cafés nested in stone houses and sheep that stand in perfect distribution for the camera. And of course, not forgetting the best pint of Guinness you’ll get anywhere in the world.
