@ Paard van Troje / 03 March 2016
The Young Folk is both the name and philosophy of this Dublin based indie-folk band. With catchy tunes and lyrics that are at time thoughtful, at times humorous, they bring a great, chilled out vibe into any scene.
With their wide variety of instruments that include the mandolin, banjo, trombone, harmonica, xylophone and more, their show is an interesting mix of sing-along songs and beats you can dance to.

The Young Folk is one of the most promising bands to come out of Ireland in recent times, and they bring a heritage of storytelling and music that is to be enjoyed rather than simply listened, into the world.
