The Next Crossing has been around since 2010 and is run by Danny and Isabella. We are creative professionals who have worked in the fields of photography, video, and online media for international NGOs for over ten years.
The website has an established presence among search engines, and many of our articles and photographs are on the first page of Google Search. We have a strong presence on social media, with more than 150,000 real followers on Facebook and Instagram.
About Us
Danny is a professional photographer and cinematographer with a degree from the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, Netherlands. During his time living in the Netherlands, he shot many world-famous music bands. He is also a published lifestyle and interior design photographer with international clients in Europe and Japan. Today, he mostly dedicates himself to travel and wildlife photography, preferring to spend his time capturing the natural wonders of our earth.
His travel photography focuses on bringing the joy of discovering something new to every image. His photography encompasses the epic nature of vast landscapes to the smallest details of life, the opulence of grand architecture to the cosiness of tucked-away ecolodges. His photos truly convey a sense of what it was like to be there.
Isabella is a writer and software developer with a portfolio of creative projects, including websites for Microsoft. Before this, she was a content creator for the United Nations, writing for their social media channels and website. She likes helping others build fast, beautiful websites with great SEO.
Her travel writing distils her experiences into stories that convey the wonder of discovering a new place, or the excitement of seeing a familiar destination in a new way. She loves travelling for stunning landscapes and punishing mountain treks, comfy homestays, and delicious local food.
